Government announces change in Home Information Pack legislation

The government have made an announcement, forcing change in the current Home Information Pack Legislation. According to the original regulations, first day marketing was a 'transitional' mechanism that would be removed at the end of the year but they have now extended this to April 2009.

First day marketing allows agents to market a property as soon as a HIP has been commissioned (eg. on the first day) but after April they will have to wait for the HIP to be completed before they can market a property.
